Reds fans demand THIS deal after Red Star Belgrade horror show

LIVERPOOL supporters are calling for the club to sign Nabil Fekir in January following their shocking performance against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.

Liverpool suffered a poor 2-0 defeat to Red Star on Tuesday evening which sealed their worst away run in Europe's elite club competition in 39 years.

Two first-half goals from 24-year-old forward Milan Pavkov were enough to beat the off-colour Reds in Serbia.

And as a result of Liverpool’s poor performance, many supporters are calling for the club to make a new midfield signing in January.

“We need a creative midfielder ASAP, [Adam] Lallana not good enough. We need Fekir!!” one fan wrote.

Another said: “If we don’t sign Fekir in Jan I cba, we need a creative midfielder.”

“F****** embarrassing! Sign Fekir and sell Lallana and Matip! Deadweight,” a third fan wrote.

A fourth fan said: “Fekir in... Lallana out!”

Liverpool had looked certain to sign Fekir from Lyon during the summer transfer window, however, the move fell apart after the club citing concerns over his history of knee problems.

Fekir had reportedly completed a medical and media duties with Liverpool before the deal collapsed at the eleventh hour.

However, if Liverpool were to reignite their interest in Fekir, they may have to battle with two European big guns in a bid to sign the Frenchman.

According to reports in L'Equipe, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are interesting in the 25-year-old’s signature.

It’s understood the Premier League club have scouted Fekir this season along with Bundesliga side Bayern.
