Tekashi 6ix9ine has avoided prison time in his child sex case.

The Brooklyn rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was sentenced to four years probation in Manhattan court on Friday.

He also has to complete 1,000 hours of community service and avoid any additional arrests.

The judge also said he must refrain from associating with any gang members and avoid all gang activity and also avoid posting or reposting online sexually explicit or violent images of women or children.

According to TMZ, after the judge announced he would be avoiding jail time, he said: "I have millions of youth that look at me as a role model and the last place I want to be is incarcerated, they don’t deserve it. Thank you.”

In October 2015, the 22-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of use of a child in a sexual performance after video surfaced of him engaging in sexual acts with a 13-year-old girl.
He was facing up to three years in prison.

Following the sentencing, a representative for the rapper said: "Daniel understands what he must now do moving forward and we will be with him every step of the way.

"We also want to thank the judge for being very fair and impartial."
